ATHLETICS TAURANGA PROGRAM 2023 - 2024
Everyone is welcome to come along to the Tauranga Domain, 91 Cameron Road, Tauranga and enjoy the track and field programme we have on offer.
Our Wednesday eveing programme will start from 5:30pm with 2 sprint, 1 middle distance and 1 long distance event each evening, plus a throw and a jump. Come along for either training or racing and make the most of club coaches and equipment. It is best suited to intermediate ages and above, however younger siblings are welcome to join in.
Please note we do not meet every Wednesday, please check dates below.
Wednesday 18th October - Opening Club Night from 5:30pm, All Welcome! Sprints, middle and long distance, plus a jump and throw on request.
Saturday 21st October - Aotearoa Relays Festival - Tauranga Domain from 2:00pm. A fun mix of relays from the more serious to the weird and whacky, something for everyone! For more information please contact Kerry Hill on khill92@hotmail.com or 021588174.
Saturday 28th October - WAIBOP Open Meet, Tauranga Domain from 3pm. TRACK 200/300/400 Hurdles, 800m, 60m sprint, 400m, 200m, 1500m, 4 x 100m Relay all grades including mixed. FIELD Hammer, High Jump, Triple Jump, Javelin.
Saturday 4th November - WAIBOP Open Meet, Tauranga Domain from 3pm. TRACK 70/80/100/110 Hurdles, 1 mile, 100m, 600m, 200/300/400 Hurdles, 200m. FIELD High Jump, Shot Put, Long Jump, Discus.
Wednesday 8th November - Club Night from 5:30pm. Sprints, middle and long distance, plus a jump and throw on request.
Sunday 12th November - WaiBOP Masters Have a Go Day, from midday at Tauranga Domain.
Wednesday 15th November - Club Night from 5:30pm. Sprints, middle and long distance, plus a jump and throw on request.
Saturday 18th November - WaiBOP Open Meet, Tauranga Domain from 3pm. TRACK 800m, 70/80/100/110 Hurdles, 3000m, 60m, 200m, 1500m. FIELD High Jump, Discus, Triple Jump, Shot Put.
Saturday 18th November - Agency 10 000m Festival incl NZ 10 000m Champs, Newtown Park, Wellington.
Saturday 25th November - WAIBOP Open Meet, Tauranga Domain from 3pm. TRACK 200/300/400 Hurdles, 100m, 2000m, 400m, 200m, 4 x 400m relays, 2000m Steeplechase. FIELD Hammer, Long Jump, Javelin, High Jump.
Sunday 26th November - Sam Johnson Memorial Throws Meeting, Tauranga. Ages 16 to masters.
Wednesday 29th November - Club Night from 5:30pm. Sprints, middle and long distance, plus a jump and throw on request.
Friday 1st to Sunday 3rd December - North Island Masters T & F Championships. Palmerston North. More details here.
Saturday 2nd Dencember - WaiBOP Childrens Relay Champs. Tauranga Domain.
Saturday 2nd December - WaiBOP Open Meet, Tauranga Domain from 5pm. TRACK 800m, 70/80/100/110 Hurdles, 100m, 400m, 200m, 1500m. FIELD Shot Put, Long Jump, Discus, Triple Jump.
Wednesday 6th December - Club Night from 5:30pm. Sprints, middle and long distance, plus a jump and throw on request.
Friday 8th to Sunday 10th December - NZ SS Track & Field Championships. Christchurch.
Saturday 16th December - Bays Night of 5's. AUT Millenium Stadium, North Shore.
Sunday 17th December - Masters Xmas Meet. Tauranga Domain.
Tuesday 2nd January 2024 - Tauranga Twilight. The largest track and field meet we host each year with a large variety of both kids and adults events. This event includes the WaiBOP 3000m Champs. Enter the Tauranga Twilight here.
