Membership

Athletics Tauranga provides activities all year round! Something for everyone whether it be cross country in the winter (April until October) or track and field in the summer (October - March).

We have members of all ages and abilities - so there is a place for you!

During the summer months, we hold a club night on selected Wednesday evenings and in the winter, regular Saturday runs and occaional Sunday runs. We have an open invitation for you to come and take part.

The registration year is from 1 April 2024 - 31 March 2025.

Registration Types and Fees

Social Membership: $60.00 (you can train and be part of club activities however not compete at higher level events)

7-14yrs Competitive - $105.00

15-19yrs Competitive - $135.00 or $58.00 quarterly (April-June)

20 years and over (Senior) Competitive - $165.00

Volunteer - those who help out at events, or are officials or helping at our club events - free.

Please note that fees may increase at our yearly AGM to be held end of June.

Notes

Grade is determined by age as at 31st December except for Masters when actual date of birth applies.

The full subscription includes the Athletics Waikato-BOP Levy and Athletics New Zealand Levy, allowing members to compete as fully registered athletes in both open and championship events, including the New Zealand Championships.

Uniforms

Members are required to wear their club uniform at all interclub events, Waikato BOP Champs, North Island and New Zealand Champs unless required to wear a Waikato BOP uniform. It is also encouraged to wear the club uniform at club events.
